Our growing family
Here is the latest shot of our family. Kacie is now: 6 1/2 mos. pregnant.

Kaera listening intently, with her friends, to Miss Pat, during the Sunday night kids bible study.

Nerts, anyone?

Nerts, anyone?
Shane n Tonya got us addicted to a card game, called: "Nerts,"and now anyone who comes over and is introduced to the game, becomes addicted too. Here are Marty, Sierra, Lauri, Shane, and Kacie, (taking the picture), playing a game. We pretty much play a few hands every night, before we go to bed. Fun, Fun!

Happy Easter, everyone!

Happy Easter, everyone!
Hope your Easter was great. We really enjoyed the holiday, and watching the girls have as much fun as they did, was the best part. Happy Easter!

Here is our little Squish, all dressed up for Easter, matching Kaera, with her Spring dress.

Here are Kaera and Maddy, her good friend, playing at church. We went to Mtn. Life Church, the church that is sending our pastor, Shane, to start the new church. Marty gave his testimony at the sunrise service, at 6am, so as you can see, Kaera is still in her pj's.

Mmm.. Tasty!

Our Easter dinner with the Finley family.

Here's the boys playing football after dinner, sorry it's the only one that I took, and it didn't turn out so well.

For all you Buca fans, yes, that is the Pope room. I was so excited when we walked past the Buca di Beppo Restaurant, in Salt Lake, on the way to the Jazz game. So, of course, Marty and I had to eat at Buca's after the game. While we were there, we met some really cool people, so it was a really fun date!

I am now convinced that if we were never allowed to visit Cali. again, that I would be ok, bec. I have discovered that there is a Buca's here!

The evening before Easter Sunday, we went to the Utah Jazz basketball game in Salt Lake City, because someone gave us free tickets. While we were there, we walked up the steeet to the Mormon temple square. Here is the temple.

Here is part of the view of the temple square. There is so much to see in the square, that not only could I not get everything in the pic., but it would take a whole day to visit and learn about everything we were allowed to walk into, and not allowed to walk into.

Here is the inside of the Jazz stadium. The Jazz players are on the court, warming up. Sorry about the lighting of the picture.

During half time, a man came onto the court, playing a keyboard, by bouncing balls on the keys. It was quite entertaining!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Happy St. Patty's Day!
Here we are as a family wearing green, and you can clearly see Kacie's belly getting bigger. (She's around 4 mos.)

Here is a pic of the inn we are holding services at on Sunday evenings, now.

Here is the entrance to the inn, and if you look close, you'll see the name of the new church on the banner-Mountain View Fellowship.

Here is the dining area, where we eat, before we start our studies. This is also the area where Shane teaches.

Here is the upstairs room where the infants play.

Here is the view of some of the valley, looking out from the view of the front porch of the inn.

Here is the downstairs of the inn- where the children's church is held.

Here is Shane teaching at the inn.

Here's some of the kids from the Sunday night kids church, coloring on a box that Marty used in his illustration, when he taught their Bible lesson. So far, there are 27 children in the group.

This last Sat. the new church plant put on an event at a rec. center, in the small town of Kamas, that was also a small version of Raging Waters. Their were huge water slides, water play structures, etc. The kids had a blast!

Here's Madelyn,(Kaera's new buddy), splashin around with Kaera.

Marty was in charge of the rock climbing that day at the rec. center.

Here's Marty helping David out with the rock climbing wall.

Jen-a-bear was a little anxious to start climbing. Sorry, baby, you have to be at least 2.

One of our friends gave Marty their old accordian, and it needs some work, but Marty was excited!

I already posted pics of Marty doing the YMCA, during the Valentine's Day party, but I ran across this, and it made me laugh, so I posted it.

Here'sMarty with Jen n Kaera, the night we went over to Soldier's Hollow, to watch ice sculpting and fireworks.(The red and green lights behind them are two of the lit up sculptures.)

Here's an elk that another man carved, and most people thoght that he should have won the contest, because of the amazing detail of the elk's body, and fur, but the man who carved the dragon won, because he won over the crowd with his entertainment skills.

Some of the awesome fireworks we saw that night.

Here's a dragon sculpture we saw a man carve..

Well, we had fun in Utah. We are excited to see what God does next. Right now we are back in Cali. It's been quite a journey these past few years. Just a quick update...

Well, we've only been here for a little less that 3 mos., and it feels like so much has happened. Kacie is around 18weeks, (almost 5 mos.), and she can feel the baby move around all the time- guess this one is going to keep us on our toes, just as much as Jennifer does.Things are going well so far, and the new Heber Church is growing. Right now, we have a Bible study on Sun. evenings, and, come early May, the church will have a trial Sunday service. The girls are getting bigger, and Jen is talking so much, now. Kaera is 3yrs old, and Jen is now 16mos. Marty is substitute teaching 3 days out of the week, and for the other 2 days, he does ministry work.

Just about every Saturday afternoon, there has been a birthday party at the pool in Kamas, that we have been invited to. So, the girls have really enjoyed getting in some swim time. Tonya is teaching them both how to swim, and right now, the girls are working on getting in and out of the pool, and jumping in on their own. They can both also go under water, and hold their breath. Although, Jen, needs to work on not opening her mouth, right before we go under with her. Also, the pool there has a huge, adult slide, that Jennifer loves to go down, and calls it: "Weee." So, every time she wants to ride on the big, yellow slide, she says: "weee, peas weee, peas."
So, that's a brief summary of what's, "Growing on," in Heber City, Utah, as well as the church we are planting. Tah Tah for now.

Exciting news: We just moved the bible study from Shane's home, to the building we are looking into buying, for the new church plant, this Sunday, March 2ND. We plan on renting it at first, and we are all praying about purchasing it, hopefully in the near future. Please keep that in your prayers. Get this- the building is actually a bed-n-breakfast inn, so it has several rooms, and mucho space for the different ministries. The inn is in a perfect location for all to see, and for vacationers who are coming to visit, it sits right at the entrance of Heber. Obviously, we need to raise the funds to buy it, Bec. the owner wants to sell it. So just keep that in your prayers, please. Unfortunately, Kacie was not there for the study, so we do not have pictures of it, yet.(Jen was really sick for a while, and is, as of today, getting better, but please pray for her, as well). So, keep watch for new pics of the inn.

Well, in case you haven't heard the exciting news, as of September13th, we will no longer be an even-numbered Geibel family of 4. Yes, we are expecting another lil Geibel, to add to our family. And we are extremely excited to announce that Kacie has not had any morning sickness with this pregnancy, like the last two,-thank you, God! So next time any of you see us, either Kacie will have a huge bump, or we'll have another little one with us. So please keep our Geibel family 5 in your prayers. Thanks.

We made it!

Ok, so, we've made it to Heber City, actually,
we made it about a month ago,
(Jan.18th, Marty's B-Day). It's beautiful, and with new friends we've made, as well as our pastor who is from California, it already feels like home. It helps too that we love the cold. The girls love the snow!! In case you haven't received the scoop on why we moved to Utah, here it is: Due to some unfortunate circumstances that happened to our family during last summer, we basically felt like God was trying to get our attention, and lead us in an entire new direction. We knew without a doubt that he wanted us both to leave our jobs, and we were open to anything. So, because we weren't sure where He wanted us, we cried out to Him. That day, when we got home, we found a message on our answering machine from our pastor. Marty called Pastor Shane, and our pastor mentioned to him that he and his family were going to Utah to plant a Christian Churh, starting from scratch. Then he told Marty that he felt that God was putting it on his heart to ask if he would be interested in starting it with him. Wow! When we told God that we were willing to go anywhere, Utah was the furthest from our minds! After several weeks of prayer, here we are! Before we left, Kacie was blessed with being able to work for Foothill Chistian Pre-school, (An amazing experience and an incredible school to work for), where we also sent our oldest daughter, Kaera.Marty then stayed home with our youngest daughter, Jennifer,(aka: Jenn-a- bear).
So, at 3am, Jan. 18th, we left with both kids asleep in the back seat. We finally made it to Heber at around 4pm. Not bad with both kids in the back seat! At first, we stayed with Bob and Saide, until Shane moved in to his new home. Now we live downstairs, in Big Daddy Shane's house. This Sunday evening, we begin the new church,Mountain View Fellowship, in Shane's home. Please keep us in your prayers. Something else you can pray for is some new friends we have been reaching out to, who are completely open to coming to the new church. Well, we will keep everyone posted with future news and exciting events. We love you!
