Not only did we make a change in where we are living, but we changed the size of our family now, to 5. In case you haven't heard, we are expecting another lil Geibel, on Sept.13, 2008!
Beautiful Utah in the Fall
Little Marty is Here!
Marty #4 was born on 8-18-08
Our growing family
Here is the latest shot of our family. Kacie is now: 6 1/2 mos. pregnant.
Kaera listening intently, with her friends, to Miss Pat, during the Sunday night kids bible study.
Nerts, anyone?
Shane n Tonya got us addicted to a card game, called: "Nerts,"and now anyone who comes over and is introduced to the game, becomes addicted too. Here are Marty, Sierra, Lauri, Shane, and Kacie, (taking the picture), playing a game. We pretty much play a few hands every night, before we go to bed. Fun, Fun!
Happy Easter, everyone!
Hope your Easter was great. We really enjoyed the holiday, and watching the girls have as much fun as they did, was the best part. Happy Easter!
Here is our little Squish, all dressed up for Easter, matching Kaera, with her Spring dress.
Here are Kaera and Maddy, her good friend, playing at church. We went to Mtn. Life Church, the church that is sending our pastor, Shane, to start the new church. Marty gave his testimony at the sunrise service, at 6am, so as you can see, Kaera is still in her pj's.
Mmm.. Tasty!
Jen eating eggs benedict, at the church. She, too, is cozy in her pj's
Kaera and Jen showing off their eggs.
Kaera showing off the basket Tonya gave to her.
Here's Jen with Dada, showing off the basket she received from Tonya.
Our Easter dinner with the Finley family.
Here's the boys playing football after dinner, sorry it's the only one that I took, and it didn't turn out so well.
For all you Buca fans, yes, that is the Pope room. I was so excited when we walked past the Buca di Beppo Restaurant, in Salt Lake, on the way to the Jazz game. So, of course, Marty and I had to eat at Buca's after the game. While we were there, we met some really cool people, so it was a really fun date!
I am now convinced that if we were never allowed to visit Cali. again, that I would be ok, bec. I have discovered that there is a Buca's here!
The evening before Easter Sunday, we went to the Utah Jazz basketball game in Salt Lake City, because someone gave us free tickets. While we were there, we walked up the steeet to the Mormon temple square. Here is the temple.
Here is part of the view of the temple square. There is so much to see in the square, that not only could I not get everything in the pic., but it would take a whole day to visit and learn about everything we were allowed to walk into, and not allowed to walk into.
Here is the inside of the Jazz stadium. The Jazz players are on the court, warming up. Sorry about the lighting of the picture.
During half time, a man came onto the court, playing a keyboard, by bouncing balls on the keys. It was quite entertaining!
Happy St. Patty's Day!
Here we are as a family wearing green, and you can clearly see Kacie's belly getting bigger. (She's around 4 mos.)
Here is a pic of the inn we are holding services at on Sunday evenings, now.
Here is the entrance to the inn, and if you look close, you'll see the name of the new church on the banner-Mountain View Fellowship.
Here is the dining area, where we eat, before we start our studies. This is also the area where Shane teaches.
Here is the upstairs room where the infants play.
Here is the view of some of the valley, looking out from the view of the front porch of the inn.
Here is the downstairs of the inn- where the children's church is held.
Here is Shane teaching at the inn.
Here's some of the kids from the Sunday night kids church, coloring on a box that Marty used in his illustration, when he taught their Bible lesson. So far, there are 27 children in the group.
This last Sat. the new church plant put on an event at a rec. center, in the small town of Kamas, that was also a small version of Raging Waters. Their were huge water slides, water play structures, etc. The kids had a blast!
Kaera-bear enjoying a swim.
Here's Madelyn,(Kaera's new buddy), splashin around with Kaera.
Our little squish enjoying the water.
Madyson, Tonya, and Jen-a-bear, at the pool.
Marty was in charge of the rock climbing that day at the rec. center.
Here's Marty helping David out with the rock climbing wall.
Jen-a-bear was a little anxious to start climbing. Sorry, baby, you have to be at least 2.
One of our friends gave Marty their old accordian, and it needs some work, but Marty was excited!
Mr.Geibel's first day of substitute teaching
Marty was recently hired on to the school district, and today was his first day as a sub, with first grade students. He's so handsome!
A student made this picture for Marty, on his first day of work.
Going out for pizza with the Finleys
I already posted pics of Marty doing the YMCA, during the Valentine's Day party, but I ran across this, and it made me laugh, so I posted it.
Heber City entertainment
Here'sMarty with Jen n Kaera, the night we went over to Soldier's Hollow, to watch ice sculpting and fireworks.(The red and green lights behind them are two of the lit up sculptures.)
Here's an elk that another man carved, and most people thoght that he should have won the contest, because of the amazing detail of the elk's body, and fur, but the man who carved the dragon won, because he won over the crowd with his entertainment skills.
Some of the awesome fireworks we saw that night.
Here's a dragon sculpture we saw a man carve..
Marty's B-Day
Right when we got to Heber, Shane's wife, Tonya, baked Marty a cake.
a few weeks ago, we had our first morning chuch service. Just thought it would be nice to get a shot of the beautiful day it was, in Heber.
Here's Marty, doing worship songs for the kids, at the first service.
Here's Marty teaching the kids a Bible story, using his own creative methods to teach them.
Here are Kaera and Jen, sitting for the worship. I took the pic, bec. Jen is actually sitting down for once. (At least for a a minute).
For Mother's Day, we went to the park and had a pic-nic. It was a nice, relaxing day!
Here's another picture from Mother's Day. Jen and Kaera got to play in the mud, in Shane's front dirt yard.
Kaera enjoys bathing in the mud, too.
Here's Jen, going for a stroll on her own. (She actually pushed thwe stroller out by herself, and climbed in. Think she's trying to hint something to me?
Maddy and Kaera picking flowers together.
Roxy Roo catching some rays.
Kaera enjoying a run in the park with her balloon.
Ever since Jen learned how to walk, at 9 1/2 mos., she hasn't stopped.
Here is Kaera picking some wild flowers.
Here's Marty helping Shane move some rocks out of the yard, so the Finley family can start planting some grass
Last Saturday, our church went bowling, and it was Kaera's first time. We tried to set up a special bowling aide, made especially for kids, but she only bowled once. For those of you who know Kaera, you may remember that she is deathly afraid of loud noises.(Fireworks, loud popping sounds, and now, bowling balls.) Oh well, nice try. At least the shoes looked really cute on her.
The human bowling ball
Jen was into bowling. If Kacie wouldn't have chased after her, she would have gone all the way to the end of the lane.
Our two little chefs
Here are Kaera and Jen, stirring up some eggs, for breakfast.
Jen is so much into baby dolls, now, that Bebe, (Baby) has to be with her, everywhere she goes, including when she sits down to eat. So, here she is at breakfast, with her:Bebe.
Lil' Geibel
So, we visited the doctor on 4/22, and he told us that either the baby has a third leg, or it's a Lil' Marty.(Look out world!) Also, if you look close, it looks like he has his thumb in his mouth. Well, some how we'll have to switch all the nursery items to blue- since everything we have is pink.
Mama and Kaera cookin it up in the kitchen.(Kacie is around 5 1/2 months).
Jen- a- bear had a fun encounter with the mud, outside of the Finley's house.
Jen-a - bear has entered the stage of collecting baby dolls, so, we went to Toys R Us, and bought her her first baby. Here she is, feeding her baby doll, she calls:" Bebe."
Here we are, watching Snow Buddies, with the Finley's, for our movie night.
While we had movie night, last week, Jen sat on Joe's lap,(David's friend), for ten minutes, gazing up at him, while he fed her popcorn.
How bout that sunny Spring weather?
Well, it's April, and, it's still snowing in Heber City!
Here is Marty teaching the Sunday night study, at the inn where the new church meets, because Shane asked him to speak.
Matty and Kaera
Here is Kaera, sitting with her good friend, Matty. Saturday was Matty's Birthday party, so they got to spend a lot of time together, at the pool in Kamas, and then we went to eat pizza and cake.
Happy birthday, Matty!
Here are Kaera and Matty, eating birthday cake, together.
Here is the big yellow slide, at the pool and rec center, in Kamas, that I mentioed in our latest update.(Scroll down the page to read it.) This is the slide that Jen calls: "Weee," and when she wants to go on it with us, she points to it, and says, "Wee, peas, Wee, peas!"
Here's Jen going down the Wee, with Dada.
Mmm... Cake for dinner!
For April Fool's Day, Marty made this dish, for dinner, that looks like cake. It's actually meatloaf, with mashed potatoes on top, and beets give it the pink color. Mmm...Tasty!
Here's Jen, trying on everyone's shoes. She loves to walk around in all of our shoes, and when she wants us to put shoes on her feet, she brings them to us, and says: shooz, peas!
Sloth love Chunk! Baby... Ruth?
Sloth, I mean, Shane, put this box on his head, and we all thought he looked like Sloth, from Goonies. So, he started to play the character when we were laughing at him, and Kacie got a picture of his face.
Tea time with the ladies
Tonya had some friends come up from Cali, and we visited the tea house in town, and we had so much fun! The hostess told us each to pick out a hat to wear, from the walls that were filled with hats. From left to right, is: Tonya, Anita, Kacie, and Kathy.
Ready for tea
Kacie had such a fun time at the tea house, that she decided to take Kaera to the tea house, and have a Mommy n me day. Kaera is so girly, that it was right up her alley.
Here is Kaera getting dressed up at the tea house. The tea house had a dress up room for the little girls to dress up before tea time. Kaera found a princess dress, that she loved.
Mmm... tea!
Kaera loved the whole tea experience!
Here is the hostess teaching Kaera how to pour tea.
Here is Kaera waiting for her tea.

Here's Jen playing with Cloee, one of Shane and Tonya's dogs.
A few weeks ago, Mountain View Fellowship, (the name of the church that we are planting in Heber,) hosted a food, and tubing outreach. Kaera was a nut!!! The hill was huge enough for an adult to pee their pants, and all she could say after each time she went down with me and Marty, was:"I wanna do it again."
Our first Sunday night Bible Study
Here's Shane teaching on Titus, to the adults, who were upstairs, on the main level of his house.
Here's everyone praying before we start the yummy meal before Sunday's bible study, at Shane's house.
Here's Marty praying with the kids, before he begins teaching them. The kids stay on the lower level of the house, which is actually the same level our family is renting out, from Shane.
